Rescuing Food, Restoring Hope, with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS)

At Vivre, we proudly collaborate with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS Indonesia / Yayasan Derma Atas Pangan) to turn surplus food into real impact , reducing food waste while supporting communities across Bali and beyond.

Since 2016, SOS has been on the ground every day, using motorcycles and refrigerated trucks to collect safe surplus food and redistribute it to those who need it most. In 2024, SOS reached 3,849 children, supported by 19 dedicated team members, including 11 drivers. Their 2025 ambition is even stronger: uplifting 6,000 children in Karangasem (Bali) and Bantar Gebang (Jakarta).
