Fresh Italian Basil Pesto – 250grams
Vivre Gourmet’s Fresh Italian Basil Pesto is handmade in a mortar and pestle to make an authentic pesto Genovese style. First, garlic and pine nuts are placed in the mortar and reduced to a cream, and then the washed and dried basil leaves are added with coarse salt and ground to a creamy consistency. Only then is a mix of Parmigiano-Reggiano and Pecorino added. We love to eat this with freshly cooked pasta or as a spread on crostini with a mature cheddar cheese.
